HYDRATION TIPS
Proper hydration is a vital effort that should be made at all times during sports to ensure that sportsmen keep the optimum amount of fluid in their body to enable them to display their maximum performance.
One may say,” I drink lots of water after a sport!”
However, do you know that although water does in fact catalyses the lowering of body temperature, it is not enough for rehydration during active sports activities as it does not contain additional properties needed to recharge the minerals lost.
When athlete do not replace what they lose in sweat, it will affect performance and put themselves at risk in getting dehydration and in a worse scenario, may even get heat stroke. Hence, look out for signs of dehydration such as muscle cramps, nausea, headache, fatigue etc. Remember to have an adequate fluid intake during active sports and also remember that quenching your mouth thirst may not simply equate to replacing the loss of body fluids.
Hydration is the replenishment of lost fluid, salt and minerals from the human body during sports. It is a continuous process, starting with having the appropriate beverage before engaging in the exercise, rehydrating during the sport, and not forgetting after the exercise.
H-TWO-O is specially formulated to replenish the loss of fluids and electrolytes to rehydrate and refuel sportsmen when the body is losing fluid. It is high in energy, carbohydrate and sodium, essential to rejuvenate and maintain the body’s active requirements during sports.
So remember, the next time you're engaged in a sport, have a H-TWO-O in your hands!
